Work and Junk

Just an update. . . Our silence on the blog over the last couple of weeks has been largely due to work.  Unfortunately, we have to continue to do real work and support our families and blah blah.  However, we are getting close (I think) to having a few windows open to continue working on Fractured House.  Updates coming soon. . . I promise.

Photos from the “Litigation Scene”

Here are some pictures from our Fractured House shoots a couple weeks ago with none other than Chad “Two-Gun” Hill reprising his role as Chad Heffer, screenwriter of the movie “Fractured House.”

Thursday shoot pushed back.

Unfortunately Thursday’s Fractured House shoot with Colton Smith was called off at the last minute, due to Colton’s slave driving employers. Seeming as how Colton is all grown up now, and has to have a job and stuff, we now have to reschedule our shoot for sometime next week. We’ll keep you updated.

Thursday shoot with Colton

We currently have a shoot scheduled for this Thursday with our old pal Colton Smith. Colton played the part of Dweeb in our film Catch! In Fractured House, Colton will be playing the part of Josh Mann’s new assistant director (Bill McQuierly’s replacement). It’s going to be great working with Colton again. I’m still trying to think of an excuse to drop him from a tree or float him down a river. Any ideas?

Fractured House is proving to be somewhat of a Chronic Zing reunion. Some of our old pals that are returning are Bill Gebhart, Colton Smith, Chad Hill, and Heith Hofmeyer. We’re also hoping to bring back the talents of Chronic Zing’s most valued ally: Jay Neilson (aka Johnny Confidence). Jay has composed and performed music for us dating all the way back to the original Fractured House. He later went on to write music for Bill Across America, he composed the score for Sausagehead, as well as wrote and performed original songs for Catch!. Jay is currently touring New Zealand, playing clubs and other venues.

Marjorie McQuierly

This past Friday we got to shoot footage of Bill McQuierly (Bill Gebhart) and his Fractured House mother Marjorie McQuierly.  Bill briefly mentions his parents in the original footage (Hector and Marjorie) but it hasn’t been until now that we’ve seen them.  The part of Marjorie is brilliantly played by Janet Bolger.  The footage looks great and extremely hilarious.  I can’t wait for you to see it.  I’ll probably post a clip sometime in the near future.

Until then. . .rock on!

Fractured House Footage and Helicopter Madness

Howdy all,

Josh and Bill spent the majority of the day sifting through the first five reels of original Fractured House footage. There’s over 10 hours of original material! Meanwhile, I was back at the office putting the buttons on a project for Branson Airport for our new company Digital LunchBox (www.digitallunchbox.com). Here are a couple photos Josh snapped with my cell phone camera as I dangled out of the helicopter to snag some nice aerial shots.
